DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER MADISON WI by QUEENS AND HEARTS
Mara and Vytas have met in Buenos Aires, Argentina in late Fall of 2011. Keep in mind that Fall in Northern Hemisphere is Spring the opposite Southern Hemisphere. Two years later around the same time they got married in the city they found each other. As a destination wedding photographer Madison WI I was very honored and fortunate to be invited to their wedding and trusted to document their wedding day. It was my first serious challenge as a destination wedding photographer Madison WI. And challenges are always fun.
That Thursday happened to be cloudy with few showers. Weather didn’t play a big role that day as the ceremony was planned to start at 8:30pm. Apparently it is not that unusual in the Argentina for party to start late at night and go way into the next day.
FYI restaurants in Buenos Aires open for the dinner around 8-9pm!
Due to the circumstances that day I didn’t get to see Bride nor Groom until right before the ceremony at the old church. Crowd in the church had representatives from Lithuania, USA and of course Argentina.
After the ceremony everybody moved to the Craigmhor Recepciones salon for cocktails, appetizers, dinner and other festivities.
As a destination wedding photographer Madison WI I had a goal to do my best and make sure nothing get’s missed in this traditional wedding.
When the festivities rolled out my jaw dropped and stayed that way until we left the building at 7am. Soprano singers, saxophone player, people with costumes decorated in LED lights, people dressed up as robots, lasers, masks, crazy dancing crowd… It all mixed together and formed one giant fun beast that lasted all night long and left memories for life.
It was truly fascinating experience to me as a guest and as a destination wedding photographer Madison WI as well.
