Tom’s and Brads wedding day started yearly. That morning I’ve met them at the Dane County Farmers Market. The sun was coming up and the shopper crowd was not there yet. In other words, that was a perfect start for a busy Saturday.
Tom and Brad picked up some flowers for their wedding ceremony and some snacks and fruits for their pre-ceremony get together with closest friends. I tagged along and documented those small, yet intimate and exciting happenings with my camera.
On the out Tom and Brad grabbed fresh coffee and croissants (ham and swiss cheese is seriously addictive) at the Graze farmer’s market stand.
I walked them back to the Mansion Hill Inn, snapped few more images and left them alone for the next few hours.
When I returned back to Mansion Hill Inn few hours later I found pre-wedding celebration at full throttle: Tom and brad with champagne, snacks and a company of close friends and family.
Tom and Brad’s same-sex wedding ceremony happened on the rooftop of Madison Children’s Museum. Couple got married surrounded by friends and family, beautiful Madison’s Downtown views, and gorgeous sunset in clear fall skies.
Wedding certificate was signed in a room shared with bunch of chickens and two lab rats named Sammie and Rex.
Wedding at Madison Children’s Museum wouldn’t be a wedding without exploring all slides, playrooms, building blocks and adult human size hamster wheel.
Top it with Sarah Davidson, one of the best wedding coordinator in Madison, and you got yourself an amazing same-sex marriage celebration.
