MADISON CHILDREN’S MUSEUM WEDDING by QUEENS AND HEARTS
Alexandra met her future husband through someone that Geoff worked with. That someone badgered Alexandra into meeting Geoff and Geoff into meeting Alexandra until they both finally said yes.
Their first date happened at the sushi bar. For the first date Geoff wasn’t too impressive- he showed up late and was hangover. Alexandra was very sarcastic that evening, and Geoff loved it. And that was how it all started.
They commuted between Madison and Milwaukee to see each other for almost 2 years before moving in together in 2011.
Their Madison Children’s Museum wedding happened on the beautiful late summer day filled with warmth and flower smell. Super laid back bridal party got together and did some before ceremony celebration at the Concourse Hotel’s bar before heading out to Madison Children’s Museum.
Wedding ceremony was planned to happen on Madison Children’s Museum’s rooftop. It was sweet and short and the groom kissed the bride while surrounded by chirping of sparrows from the near by bird feeder.
After the first dance, the wild crowd rolled in and the fun part of the day started. And while moving crowd makes wedding dance floor photographing a challenge, it’s one of my favorite elements of the day. Whoohooo! (:
