FOOD PHOTOGRAPHER MADISON WI by QUEENS AND HEARTS
Here comes another stop at the The Madison Club to snap few pictures of food creations by their executive chef Andrew Wilson. We did set up photo station on the 3rd floor’s fine dining restaurant, Churchill’s Dining Room. Timing of the day worked well so I was able to capture all deliciousness in natural ambient light without using any artificial light sources.
That day I’ve photographed couple appetizers, garden salad and a wedding cake. Cake smelled really good, but didn’t make it to this blog post. (:
Bon appétit! Again!
Some of the my previous food photography work can be found here and here.

TECH LANGUAGE (MILD VERSION): Only available natural window light was used during this food photography session. All images were shot hand held with an amazing Fuji X-Pro1 camera. Revolutionary camera that has been on the market for couple of years and can deliver some serious imagery. All images were shot with fantastic Fujinon XF 35mm f/1.4 R lens to keep aperture wide open and maintain fast shutter speed. Besides the camera and the lens I used Impact 5-in-1 collapsible oval reflector to bounce so back light back. As a food photographer Madison WI I must admit that natural light, fast prime lens and reflector setup works best for me.
