THE OLD FEED MILL WEDDING
Bethany and Conor met at Bread of Life Anglican Church in the fall of 2013. They both had this sense that they wanted to be together from the beginning. However Bethany and Conor didn’t talk about it until later in hopes they wouldn’t ruin anything! Conor asked Bethany on an “adventure” (read: date) in October 2013. Adventure happened in Winnequah Park in Monona, WI where couple shared a caramel apples, Lapacek’s Apple Orchard apple cider donuts, and drank warm apple cider (that Conor heated up on spot with a blow torch).
It was from that point on, Bethany and Conor knew they were on the edge of something. Something very genuine, serious and exciting. They began dating in November 2013. Conor proposed (with the Bang!) the following July, to which he brought two pugs, Bethany’s favorite dogs. And the rest, they say, is history.
I photographed couple’s UW Memorial Union engagement session back in fall of 2014.
Wedding day ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church in Waunakee, WI radiated raw emotions filled with happy tears and laughter. After the ceremony everybody traveled to Mazomanie, WI. I met newlyweds and their bridal party at the Walking Iron Bed and Breakfast to do some wedding portraits and bridal party pictures. While photographing Bride’s and Grooms I had some time to experiment with freelensing technique and captured some dreamy and atmospheric wedding portraits.
Reception festivities started after everyone arrived to the Old Feed Mill. After the dinner and dancing, Bethany and Conor did the sparkle exit and drove into the night with their Toyota Camry decorated with balloons and LEDs.
Big thanks to very talented Madison WI photojournalist Lauren Justice that helped me throughout the day to document this Old Feed Mill wedding!
