WILDCAT MOUNTAIN STATE PARK WEDDING
Jessica and Matt planned their Wildcat Mountain State park wedding at my favorite time of the year- fall. Upon my arrival I found Matt with his groomsmen finishing final preparations for ceremony at the amphitheater. All gentlemen looked casual, yet sharp- shirt, jeans, suspenders and boots.
Guests started to arrive and quickly filled the amphitheater located on a steep ridge and overlooking the scenic Kickapoo River valley. When I saw the Bride, I got really excited. Jessica was wearing by far my favorite wedding dress this season. It did fit her perfectly, champagne color looked just right, it matched Jessica’s comfortable looking wedding sandals.
I am strong believer, that comfortable clothing on a wedding day should be one of the biggest priorities.
After sweet and short ceremony group of people, including Bride, Groom and bridal party, left for went for the Old Settler’s Trail (approximately 1.5 mile long) hike.
Trail took us to another part of the Wildcat Mountain State park where the reception part was planned.
Wedding reception that happened at park’s picnic area had wild kids, tons of board and outdoor games, tubs filled with ice and beer, glow sticks and breathtaking Sunset over the gorgeous Kickapoo River valley.
