WINTER ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY MADISON WI by QUEENS AND HEARTS
According to the Wedding Wire 33% of all engagements happen between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. That’s what statistics say. If you ask me it seems like a solid chunk of yearly engagements. Family get together, cozy times at the fireplace, gift unwrapping creates a perfect environment for the magic to happen.
And magic happens! Arvydas proposed to his future wife right around Christmas time. We have scheduled their winter engagement photography session around the middle of January. Day happened to be cold, cloudy and snowy day. I’m really not sure which one of them came up with the idea, but thermos filled with hot chocolate was something that couldn’t have worked better that day!
Things were really happening that afternoon! I witnessed some serious downhill sledding, funky snow fight and cuddling with “hot chocolate times” in between.
From wedding photographer’s perspective winter engagement photography Madison WI season works just fine. On the bad side winter season brings low temperatures, shorter days and somewhat limited choice of locations. However with wedding season in it’s slowest gear there is plenty of time to polish winter engagement photography ideas and help couples to make it happen in the best and easiest way possible.
So look around for some creative winter engagement session ideas, let’s brainstorm together and let’s make it happen!
I can’t wait to put big smile on your faces! (:
